Updating demographics from Epic
If the participant profile is synchronized with Epic, any updates to the patient’s demographics in Epic can be reflected in the participant profile on Way to Health.
Setup
Under Advanced Settings, choose the Epic Fields and Validation header. To enable this feature, click the checkmark, “Update patient demographics when they are updated in Epic” and Save.
When this is enabled, profile edits in Way to Health will be locked and any updates to the patient’s demographics should be done in Epic. An error banner will appear at the top of the edit profile that warns: “This patient’s profile is synchronized with Epic. Please update this patient’s demographics in Epic. Any changes made here will be overridden.”
