Create conversations for your participants using our messaging feature. You have the ability to build conversations in our platform like a survey via text message. Using conversations, participants can have both open ended responses and formatted answers with branching logic. Conversations can be scheduled or triggered based on certain keywords.

"Hi, Way to Health!" 

"Hi, valued customer, thank you for using W2H, are you loving this new conversations feature?" 

"Yes, it is awesome"                                                                       "No, I still have some questions"

 "Happy to hear it!"                                                                                               "We're here to help" 



*Note: while using SMS conversations, your study coordinator will need to update your twilio configuration to reflect the messaging url seen above on the Messaging, Contact Info page. 


Things to remember while using conversations and keywords... 

  • If your participant is in the middle of a scheduled conversation and they text in one of your configured keywords, the scheduled conversation will pause, and the keywords response/conversation will be triggered. Once that trigger response/conversation is over, the scheduled conversation will continue. 
  • If you have participant messaging limited by time of day (ex: 8am-10pm) and you schedule a conversation before the texting window opens, the participant will NOT receive that conversation
  • If a participant starts a conversation, but stops responding part way through, the conversation will not be marked as completed. The responses they completed WILL be saved.
