Practice: Building Enrollment

(lightbulb) Before you can build your intervention, you need to enroll participants into the study.  

During enrollment you want to make sure that you:

  1. Collect participant contact information 
  2. Administer an informed consent 
  3. Screen participants for eligibility 
  4. Participants authorize Way to Health to collect their scale data 
  5. Assign participants to male or female arm depending on gender 

Your enrollment protocol in order:

  1. Profile
    1. Name
    2. Email address

    5. Home address

    2. If participant says that they do not want to participate —> mark as ineligible

  3. Screening Survey
    1. Intro text:  Thank you for your interest in this study! First, we would like to ask you a few questions about your current health and personal characteristics in order to determine whether this study would be a good fit for you. Please try your best to answer all of the questions truthfully because weight loss can be risky for individuals with certain conditions.  Once you have completed all of the questions, you will receive a message informing you whether you might qualify for this study.
