Platform-wide updates

Data Security Agreement

The first time that you log back into Way to Health you will be asked to review and sign the Data Security Agreement. The purpose of this agreement is to ensure Way to Health users agree to appropriately use, store and protect study participant and patient data, including PHI. This will be the standard requirement for any new users going forward. Completion confirmation of the agreement can be found in the Staff Report.

Unique Twilio phone numbers

Each study site must have it's own Twilio number. This prevents one study from erroneously sending text or IVR messages from another study's number.

Accidentally try to select another study's phone number? Way to Health will prevent you from saving the updates.

Automatic Twilio log deletion

Protecting your participants' information has never been so easy!  You no longer have to remember to check that pesky 'delete records from Twilio logs' checkbox for text-based PHI collection. All incoming SMS and MMS message content will automatically delete from the Twilio logs within a few minutes.

Prevention of survey resetting

Resetting a Qualtrics survey is necessary to carry over changes to the platform. However, surveys should never be reset following launch as this deletes the original data from the platform. Now you don't need to remember, Way to Health prevents you from resetting any survey. What if you need to make changes to your survey after launch? See Updating Surveys for help.

Reminder to forget about Qualtrics! All new surveys should be created using the Internal Survey builder.

Incident alerts for uh-ohs

What happens when you delete an arm, strata, access group, etc. that is being used for evaluation in event or enrollment logic? Now, you will receive an incident message when that event runs so you can quickly address it. The incident even directs you to the enrollment or arm event that should be updated! Whereas previously, you might not have known that an event was misconfigured.

Participant Selection on new EPIC alert messages

Confidently select the correct participant with ease on the new EPIC alert message page thanks to autofilling of participant names or IDs.
