What is a device upload encounter?
An encounter type that looks for participant data from a specified device source, like a Fitbit or Twilio SMS receiver. Once device data attaches and the encounter closes, feedback runs based on a participant's completion or compliance, often linked to a target, on the encounter.
What are the different types of device upload encounters?
- Device data from a tangible device, like a Fitbit. This is the most common type of device upload encounter.
- Device data from a receiver, like Twilio SMS. This type of device is used to receive text message responses from participants
- Device data from a sleep device, which is much like scenario #1, except has a special encounter window due to the uniqueness of collecting sleep data
