Advanced Survey Considerations

There exists a checkbox setting on surveys (Under Survey Settings > Question) labeled ‘Focus first question on changing the page’, which is enabled by default for new surveys.

Having this enabled makes it so upon opening the survey, and whenever moving to the next page, the survey will jump focus to the first question. This is nice in most cases, but it also means it scrolls past any text that is before the first question on the page.

In certain cases (e.g. Informed Consent surveys), where there is long intro-text before the actual questions, it may be desired to turn off this checkbox, so the survey will open at the top and patients can scroll through and read the body before getting to the first question.
